Opportunities falling into place!

I am originally from California, living in London, with 4 children.  This makes getting home to visit Grandma a pretty expensive endeavor. This year I also have my 25th high school reunion, one of my sisters just had a baby, and my mother was recently hospitalized which gave us all quite a scare and heightened the need to spend time with her.  However, there isn't a reasonable or realistic way that we will ever afford 6 airline tickets half way across the world during the height of the tourist season.

I have been meaning to come and write this so I could put my intention out there into cyberspace as well as the universe and to God.  This time I am not getting down on how unlikely it is that we will ever be able to afford the trip or trying to find a definitive answer on how I can make it work.  I am just assuming we are going.  I am going to California this summer with my family.  I am thanking God for providing the means to make it happen.  I am acting in every way like it will happen, even if I am not sure at this time where the money will come from.

Tonight, a solution was presented to me. I was looking through a children's clothing catalog and found that they are having a contest with the top prize being a trip for 4 to Los Angeles.  It involves making a home movie with your family of a favorite childrens' story.  The deadline is 7 days from today.

So there you have it. This is how I am going to get my family to Los Angeles to visit with my family and to go to my high school reunion. You have my word and my affirmation.  My family will win the contest to go to LA.
